7, 13, 24, 40, 61, …?

this a two stage number series
In first stage:
we need to find difference between previous to next number.

( 7 – 13 ) = 6
( 24 – 13 ) = 11
( 40 – 24 ) = 16
( 61 – 40 ) = 21
( 87 – 61 ) = 26

In second stage:
we need to find difference between 2nd stage previous to next number.
( 11 – 6 ) = 5
( 16 – 11 ) = 5
( 21 – 16 ) = 5
( 26 – 21 ) = 5
All the 2nd stage differences are same that is 5.
So, question mark replaces with ( 5 + 21 ) = ( 26 + 61 ) = 87
