Sashi got 75 marks in English, 69 marks in Biology, 64 marks in Science, 76 in Maths and 58 marks in Physics. The maximum marks of each subjects are 100. How much overall percentage of marks did Sashi get?

Sameer was started a cotton manufacturing business and he invested Rs.76000/- in it. After some month, his friend Soma came and join with him with Rs.57000/-. At the end of the year the total profit was divided among them into the ratio of 2 : 1. Find that, how many months Soma joined in this business.

So, Soma’s money was invested for ( 12 – X ) months.
76000 x 12 / 57000 x ( 12 – X ) = 2 / 1
912000 = 114000 ( 12 – X )
114 ( 12 – x ) = 912
X = 4
So, after 4 months Soma joined the business.
Example #4
Anil, Mukesh and Ritesh started a business by investing Rs.20000/-. 4 month later Anil withdraws Rs.6000/-, Mukesh withdraws Rs.8000/- and Ritesh invest Rs.6000/-. At end of the year, total profit was Rs.65600/-. What would be the share percentage of each?

Example #5
Ajit and Nilesh are two friends. They invested Rs.120000/- and Rs.80000/- in hotel business and agree that 60% of the profit should be divided equally between them and remaining profit is to be treated as interest on capital. If one partner gets Rs.300/- more than other. Find the total profit in the business.

Example 2 not clear
P being a working partner gets 10% of the profit as salary, the remaining is shared between P, Q and R in the ratio 2:3:4. If P gets 300000, then share of Q in rupees is…..???
