      If x is a% more than y,then y is how much less than x. In this we use formula= a multiply 100/100+a. So 20*100/100+20= 50/3 ans. Got it.

      Hi lakshmi….. There now he getting 125% salary i. e 225rs

      125%=225
      Then he asked what is before his salary??

      Simple 125%=225rs
      Then 100%=180rs…ok

    Sir,in problem no 9
    she invest 25% of her salary
    so if i assume dtotal salary be x
    then 25% of x=1500
    there fore x=6000
    expenses = total- savings
    6000-1500=4500
    please clarify . awaiting for your early reply

      25% is invested salary …thus 1/4 of its salary is invested…now if 1/4 is invested salary then the saving salary is- 3/4..thats why
      (3/4)x=1500
      x=2000
      Now total salary is 2000 then invested one is 1/4 of x.
      => 500
