Raman is a mute person who wants to buy a new toothbrush to the shop. By imitating the action of brushing one’s teeth he successfully expresses himself to the shopkeeper what he wants and the purchase is done. Now another day Suresh is a blind man who wishes to buy a pair of sunglasses. How should he express himself to the shopkeeper?

Suresh will say that he wants to buy a pair of sunglasses, because he is blind not mute.

A man has a wolf, a goat, and a cabbage. He must cross a river with the two animals and the cabbage. There is a small rowing boat, in which he can take only one thing with him at a time. If, however, the wolf and the goat are left alone, the wolf will eat the goat. If the goat and the cabbage are left alone, the goat will eat the cabbage. How can the man get across the river with the two animals and the cabbage?

Step 1: The man crosses with goat.
Step 2: Returns alone.
Step 3: Then he crosses with cabbage or wolf.
Step 4: Returns with goat.
Step 5: Then crosses with whichever (cabbage or wolf) he didn’t take the first time.
Step 6: Returns alone.
Step 7: Finally he crosses with goat.
Now, they are all on the other side.

Rakesh are standing next to a well. Rakesh have two jugs. One jug has a content of 3 liters and the other one has a content of 5 liters. How can he get just 4 liters of water using only these two jugs?

Step 1: At first he fill the 3 liter jug and pour it into the 5 liter jug.

Step 2: Then he refill the 3 liter jug and fill up the 5 liter jug to the top. Since there were already 3 liters of water in the 5 liter jug, only 2 liters of water are removed from the 3 liter jug and leaving 1 liter of water in the 3 liter jug.

Step 3: Then he dump out the 5 liter jug and pour the remaining 1 liter water in the 3 liter jug into the 5 liter jug.

Step 4: Refill the 3 liter jug and pour it into the 5 liter jug.

Now, Rakesh have 4 liters of water in the 5 liter jug.
