We all know that the most important thing in competitive exams is Mathematics. It doesn’t mean that other topics are not so important. You can get a good score only if you get a good score in math section. You can get good score only by practicing more and more. All you need to do is to do math problems correctly within time, and you can do this only by using shortcut tricks. But it doesn’t mean that without using shortcut tricks you can’t do any math problems. You may have that potential to do maths within time without using any shortcut tricks. But so many people can’t do this. Here we prepared miscellaneous examples for those people. Here in this page we try to put all types of Miscellaneous Examples. But it possible we miss any. We appreciate if you share that with us. Your little help will help so many needy.
Example 1:
The area of a square is twice the area of a rectangle.If the area of the square is 324 Sq.Cms, and the length of the rectangle is 13.5 Cm, What is the difference the breadth of the rectangle and the side of the square?
Answer :
We know the formula of square a2 = 324,so side of square a = 18 Cm.
length of rectangle is 13.5 Cm,
breadth = ?
324 = 2(l+b)
324 = 2 x (13.5 + b)
b = 324 x 10 / 2 x 135
b = 12
So the difference between breadth of the rectangle and the side of the square is ( 18 – 12 )=6 Cm.
