- The sum of any two sides of a triangle is always greater than the third side.
- The sum of the angles of a triangle is 180

Pythagoras Theorem

A right angle triangle.

(Hypotenuse)^{2} = (Base)^{2} + (Height)^{2}

Area of a right angle triangle

(1 / 2 x Base x Height )

Area = 1 / 2 x p x q

Perimeter of a triangle

Sum of all sides of a triangle.

Perimeter = p + q + r.

The angle ratio of a triangle is 19 : 9 : 8. What would be sum of the largest angle and the smallest angle?

**How to Solve**

The sum of all angles of a triangle is 180

^{o}.

Sum of all ratio is,

( 19 + 9 + 8 )

= 36.

So, the largest angle is 19 / 36.

And the smallest angle is 8 / 36.

Sum of both the largest and smallest angle is,

( 19 / 36 ) + ( 8 / 36 )

= 27 / 36.

Therefore,

Sum = 180 x 27 / 36

= 135^{o}
