- 12
Show Answer Show How to Solve Open Rough Workspace
How to Solve If 2 women completed the work in 9 days,
Then, days required for 3 women is
2 x 9 / 3
= 6 days.
If 3 boys complete the work in 8 days,
Then, days required for 4 boys is
3 x 8 / 4
= 6 days.
So, work done by 3 women and 4 boy in 1 day is
(1 / 6) + (1 / 6)
= 1 / 3.
So, remaining work is
1 – (1 / 3)
= 2 / 3.
So, in to complete the work in 1 day, the required men is
2 x 2 x 3 / 3
= 4
its a very good technique to solve the question easily and i have supported for competetive exam face
very simple technique
wrong techniq
great work guys..!!
very simple technique
i think some thing is wrong in example 2
how can this question be solved?
Arjun completed a work in 35 days and biju in 45 days. if together they complete it and get a payment of Rs 3200, what is biju’s share?
Find the ratio of their work done in 1 day first.
Arjun’s 1 day work : 1/35
Biju’s 1 day work : 1/45
Ratio is : Arjun : Biju = 1/35 : 1/45 = 9:7
Total Payment is : 3200.. Total Ratio is 16..
So, Arjun’s share = (9/16)*3200 = Rs. 1800
And Biju’s share = (7/16)*3200 = Rs. 1400.
Or simply 3200-1800 = 1400…
Why ratio become 9:7 instead of 7:9?
Please guide me…
Because ratio of capicty is iopposite ratio of efficiency
simple ratio both of 7:9 than total 16, 9/16*3200=1800 than 3200-1800=1400
Biju share is 1800
1800
biju =45(3200/(45+45))
45*3200/80
1800
(
Wages are distributed in the ratio of efficiency or work done in a day. In this case efficiency is 9:7
3200*7/16=1400
Wages are divided in the inverse ratio of number of days.
ie. 45:35 or 9:7
7/16 x 3200 = 1400
1600 share
very techniqe method
